For years I had wanted to try my hand at floral design, but it was something I just thought I would never understand or be good at. But thanks to our (brand new!) local library, I finally took a (free!) workshop and fell in love with the practice.

I've always found being out in nature grounding and tried my best to bring flowers, plants and herbs into my environment. Floral design, for me, feels like a give and take with the elements you choose to work with;
