Laura Lyn DiSiena is a designer and occasional author who loves to make all sorts of pretty (sometimes edible) things. Working primarily as an art director in children's publishing, her expertise lies in the development of picture books, chapter books and middle-grade/tween novels. From coming up with a fresh cover concept to finding just the right artist, then topping it all off with a cool combination of typefaces and specs sure to grab the reader's attention, putting together the complete package is her passion. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her artsy husband, rock star daughter and one sweet lil' kitty.
